Genetic Counsellor Awareness Day is typically hosted on the second Thursday in November each year. It is dedicated to empowering genetic counsellors to help raise awareness and interest about genetic counsellors in your communities and health care, and to help people understand the important and supportive role genetic counsellors can play as part of their healthcare team.

As members of the Association of Genetic Nurses an Counsellors in the UK we are pleased to raise awareness of the role of genetic counsellors in family planning and assisted concpeption.
